In 1990, I began my career as a police officer for The Township of South Orange Village. In addition to my position as Detective Sergeant, I was appointed as the department Range Master as well as a Firearms Instructor at the Essex County Police Academy, I've always enjoyed gardening and started planting peppers to keep the squirrels from eating my tomatoes! On my days off from the police department, I started making hot sauce for friends and family. They enjoyed my creations, and encouraged me to pursue the dream of starting a business. My wife Maureen and I are life long residents of South Orange, New Jersey. Together we raised our children, Connor and Emily as well as our nephew David. I am retiring from the South Orange Police Department on January 1, 2021 and will then be able to devote all of my time to making more hot sauces!
